Everyone tells you to break it down into small next steps, but figuring it out in the moment while fighting the urge to procrastinate is hard. Your oomfie helps you get started by offering a little encouragement and automatically breaking down bigger tasks into a list of small, simple next steps.
Your oomfie catches you when you get distracted and cutely shows up at the edge of your screen to remind you to get back to work. You can also talk to it if you feel stuck! To make sure it doesn't get annoying, oomfie spaces out its nudges and adjusts how often they appear based on your preferences over time.
Your oomfie also helps you get back to tasks or long-term goals you've left unfinished with smart reminders. For example, you could say, "If I haven't worked on my essay by 4 PM tomorrow, remind me to get started." Unlike regular reminders, these can take into account what you've actually been doing, so they only show up when the conditions you've set are met.

Oomfie is currently in development. This policy only covers our pre-launch website and waitlist, not the desktop application.
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address so we can notify you when Oomfie launches and occasionally share Oomfie-related news and promotions.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may also process basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, and request times, to operate the website and prevent abuse.
The website does not monitor your screen, applications, browsing history, or other activity on your device.

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, and waitlist submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated signups. It processes technical information for spam protection. We also use short-lived identifiers derived from IP addresses to limit repeated signup attempts, without storing raw IP addresses in our waitlist database. This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cloudflare may process information in different countries as part of providing its services, subject to applicable data protection safeguards.

Joining the waitlist is completely optional.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our promotional emails or by contacting us at oomfie.app@gmail.com.
You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
We'll keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to Oomfie communications or until it is no longer needed for these purposes. If you unsubscribe, we'll stop sending promotional emails and remove your address from our active mailing list, subject to any legally necessary records.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and restrict access to those who need it to operate the waitlist.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as Oomfie develops. Changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
When the desktop application launches, we'll provide separate privacy information explaining how it handles user data.
